Cloud & Infrastructure

Build what you need.
Not what vendors sell.

35 years of infrastructure means we've seen every architecture trend come and go. We build hybrid environments that actually work—cloud where it makes sense, on-prem where it doesn't.

Our Philosophy

Vendor-agnostic means
we work for you.

We're Microsoft partners, VMware certified, and AWS trained. But we recommend what's right for your situation—not what pays us the biggest commission.

Sometimes that means Azure. Sometimes AWS. Sometimes keeping things on-prem. The answer depends on your workloads, compliance needs, and budget—not our vendor relationships.

What We Build

Infrastructure that scales
without surprises.

From single-server shops to multi-site enterprises. We've designed, built, and supported infrastructure at every scale.

Cloud Migration

Lift-and-shift, refactor, or rebuild—we choose the right approach for each workload. No forced vendor lock-in.

Microsoft 365 & Azure

From Exchange Online to Azure AD to Intune. We're Microsoft partners because we know the platform, not because of kickbacks.

Hybrid Architecture

Not everything belongs in the cloud. We design hybrid environments that put workloads where they make sense.

Virtualization

VMware, Hyper-V, vSAN—we've been virtualizing infrastructure since before it was fashionable. Including that midnight switch run.

Backup & DR

Backups that actually restore. DR plans that actually work. We test them because we've seen what happens when they don't.

Network Architecture

SD-WAN, zero-trust networking, network segmentation. Built for security and performance, not just connectivity.

Our Process

Migrations that don't break things.

Every migration follows the same proven approach. No shortcuts, no surprises.

01

Assess

Inventory everything. Understand dependencies. Identify what's actually costing you money.

02

Design

Architecture that fits your needs, not a vendor template. Right-size from day one.

03

Migrate

Phased approach with rollback plans. We don't do big-bang migrations without a safety net.

04

Optimize

Tune for cost and performance. Monthly reviews to prevent cloud sprawl.

Success Story

Dell said 48 hours.
We did it in 4.

When a critical vSAN node failed, the vendor quoted 48 hours for parts. That wasn't going to work. Our engineer drove to Sacramento at midnight, sourced compatible hardware, and had the cluster back online by 4am.

That's what 35 years of infrastructure experience looks like when it counts.

Common Questions

Cloud migration questions answered.

Should we move everything to the cloud?

Probably not. Some workloads make sense in the cloud, others don't. We'll help you figure out which is which based on cost, performance, compliance, and operational requirements—not vendor marketing.

Azure or AWS?

Depends on your existing stack. If you're a Microsoft shop, Azure usually makes more sense for identity integration and licensing. If you're running containers or have specific AWS-native requirements, we'll build there. We're not religious about it.

How do you handle migrations without downtime?

Careful planning, phased cutover, and always having a rollback plan. Most migrations happen over weekends or after hours. Critical systems get parallel-run periods where we verify everything works before final cutover.

What about our compliance requirements?

Cloud doesn't mean less compliant—if anything, major cloud providers have more certifications than most on-prem environments. We'll ensure your architecture meets HIPAA, SOC 2, CMMC, or whatever framework applies to you.

How do we avoid cloud cost surprises?

Proper architecture from the start, right-sizing instances, reserved capacity where it makes sense, and monthly cost reviews. We've seen organizations cut their cloud bills 40% just by cleaning up orphaned resources and right-sizing.

Can you manage our cloud environment after migration?

Yes. Migration is just the beginning. We provide ongoing management including monitoring, optimization, patching, security, and cost management. Or we can train your team and hand off—whatever fits your model.

Ready to modernize your infrastructure?

We'll assess your current environment, identify opportunities, and build a migration plan that fits your timeline and budget.
